JoinUp is a three-sided platform for IRL events. Hosts make the magic, venues hold the space, members show up — and everyone should win.
Existing event platforms got the basics right: free to use, low friction, decent pages. But their business model stops there. The platform takes a cut of the ticket, the night ends, and hosts and venues each go home to count their own money.
We see it differently: the real money is at the venue. The drinks, the small plates, the merch, the second round. That’s where the host should share in the upside.
So we wired it up. One event ends — ticket revenue, in-venue consumption share, and the platform’s cut split automatically. Hosts make more than they would on Luma. Venues fill quiet weeknights. Members move from arrival to checkout with one QR code.
A good platform doesn't toll the road — it grows the pie.
